Ashley does a variety of programming that can be brought to a venue or groups can come out to the Nature Center! We have a variety of ambassador animals to share along with many other nature artifacts. If you are interested in programming- email Ashley our Naturalist at emmetccb@gmail.com
Meet the Ambassador Animals!


These animals are on display at the Nature Center, along with traveling with Ashley for programming. Through animals, we can learn so much about science and the world, as well as compassion for these amazing creatures.

Favorite Programs Include:

Animal Groups- Go through each group of animals (reptiles, amphibians, etc) with live animals and talk about key characteristics.

Birds- Identify common birds in the area and take a look at their eggs, nests, skulls, feathers and listen to their calls/songs.

Mammals- Identify common mammals in the area and take a look at their furs, tracks and skulls.

Trees- Identify common trees in the area by looking at leaves, bark and common characteristics.

Pollinators- Talk about the importance of pollinators and what we can do to help. Identify common pollinators in the area.

Aquatics- Identify common fish and aquatic invertebrates. Connect the dots between water quality and the animals we find.
